In 1983, he graduated in dentistry from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ku.dk\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the University of Copenhagen<\/a>, Denmark. Subsequently, S\u00f6ren Atrup Nielsen practiced dentistry for many years in his own dental practice in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f6ren Atrup Nielsen specializes in <a href=\"https:\/\/adent.ch\/en\/care\/implant-and-restoration\/\">implantology<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/adent.ch\/en\/info\/gum-care-2\/\">periodontics<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/adent.ch\/en\/care\/dental-whitening-and-cosmetic-care\/\">cosmetic dentistry<\/a>. Since 2017, he has also been performing bone grafts in the jaw. This dental treatment enables implants to be placed, even in cases where the amount of bone was insufficient.<\/p>\n<p>One of Dr Nielsen&#8217;s specialties is the &#8220;all-on-four&#8221;: a total dental prosthesis fixed on just 4 implants.
