To ensure smooth planning and maintain access to dental care for all our patients, any appointment missed or not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance may be billed. These conditions are applied with fairness and good judgment.

1. Dental Hygienists (DH)

If an appointment is missed (without cancellation 24 hours in advance):

• 1st missed appointment: Flat fee of CHF 65.–
• 2nd missed appointment: Flat fee of CHF 65.–
• 3rd missed appointment: Flat fee of CHF 65.–

Important note:
These fees are applied with common sense, particularly when a medical certificate, valid proof, or the patient’s history is taken into account.

2. Dentists (MD)

Missed appointments (not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance) are billed based on the originally reserved duration:

• 1st missed appointment: Billed for a minimum of 15 minutes
• 2nd missed appointment: Billed for a minimum of 30 minutes

3rd missed appointment: Billed for at least 50% of the reserved time

3. Exceptions

• No fee is charged for appointments shorter than 30 minutes.

4. Application Period

• Missed appointments are considered within a 2-year period to determine recurrence (1st, 2nd, or 3rd missed appointment).
