The use of Cerec® makes it possible to produce customized prosthetic reconstructions (e.g. a dental crown) in a single session. Your dental impressions are scanned with an intra-oral camera. The images are then transmitted digitally to Cerec®. The device automatically cuts the cube of composite or ceramic according to the dimensions defined by the dentist. The dental crown (or onlay) is then permanently cemented during the same session.
Dental hygienists work specifically with the GBT® technique : Guided Biofilm Therapy – a gentle, non-invasive technology for dental scaling. Developed by Swiss company EMS Dental, the GBT® technique guarantees pain-free treatment and is used in most Adent Group dental clinics. This technique is used for both adults and children. Our hygienists undergo regular further training to keep up to date with the latest developments.
At our dental clinic in Lausanne, you can also consult us for orthodontic, endodontic (root canal), pediatric and surgical treatments (e.g. dental implants or wisdom teeth).
