Dental whitening and cosmetic care

An even brighter smile for maximum self-confidence

The smile is an essential element of self-confidence and is one of the focal points of the face

Our mouth plays a major role in communication and health.

Regular dental hygiene is the key to good oral health and contributes to self-confidence. Removing plaque from your teeth helps prevent the growth of bacteria that cause gum inflammation (called gingivitis). It also keeps your teeth smooth, white and shiny.

With a few good habits built into your daily routine and regular visits to your dental hygienist or dentist, you can keep your smile healthy, bright and beautiful. Our dental hygienists will share with you the healthy tips to keep your teeth white and your gums healthy.

FAQ – Teeth whitening at the dentist’s

Teeth whitening at the dentist’s: how does it work?

Teeth whitening at the dentist’s is performed by our qualified dental hygienists. Teeth whitening is carried out in a single session using professional, tried and tested products. They contain 16% carbamide peroxide.

The whitening gel is applied to your teeth in one of our practices for 10 to 30 minutes. A biophotonic arc lamp (ultraviolet light) is projected onto your teeth and activates the whitening product. To prevent sensitivity, vitamin D is applied to the gums.

The BlancOne® CLICK session lasts 10 minutes. The dental hygienist applies this treatment directly after scaling. You can gain one to two shades with BlancOne® CLICK.

We also offer BlancOne® TOUCH teeth whitening. It takes 30 minutes, or three whitening cycles. With this treatment, your tooth enamel is lightened by four to five shades. You will leave with bright, white teeth!

What are the advantages of BlancOne® professional teeth whitening?

BlancOne® teeth whitening is short, effective and meets the needs of our patients with its advantages:

  • Only one session is needed for whiter teeth
  • The procedure is short (as little as 10′ minutes of application). Teeth whitening is applied directly after your dental scaling

Tooth sensitivity is reduced (tests carried out with our patients). The result is natural and long-lasting.

What do I need to consider before starting BlancOne® professional teeth whitening?

Good oral hygiene is required for teeth whitening. A check-up appointment with a dentist is necessary before your teeth whitening. The absence of cavities, plaque or other pathologies (such as periodontitis) is essential before starting the treatment.

Teeth whitening is not recommended for pregnant women, heavy smokers and adolescents up to the age of 18. Their teeth are not yet mature, the roots are still open and sensitive. It should also be taken into consideration that dental crowns and composites (called “fillings”) do not whiten. If they are on the back teeth, whitening is carried out without any problem. But, if they are present on the front teeth, they will have to be changed after teeth whitening and adapted to the new colour of the teeth.

FAQ – Teeth whitening with trays

Dental whitening trays: how do they work?

The dental hygienist or dentist makes an impression of your teeth and sends it to the dental technician. Your personalised, made-to-measure whitening tray is created in the laboratories belonging to the Adent network.

It takes one week for the whitening tray to be made. After this time, a new appointment is made for the fitting, advice on use and delivery of the material (tray and whitening product). The trays can be worn during the day or at night, depending on your preferences, for a few hours. After several days, results are already visible. After only 2 weeks, the treatment is complete and your teeth are bright and white.

Your teeth whitening tray can be stored and used again later. This means that you can touch up your teeth as you wish.

Who is teeth whitening with trays intended for?

Teeth whitening treatment with trays is intended for people who want to have whiter teeth for a long time. To benefit from this treatment, you must not have any oral contraindications and have healthy teeth (no tartar, cavities, loosening, etc.). The advice of your dental hygienist or dentist is necessary.

What are the benefits of Philips Zoom® professional teeth whitening?

Teeth whitening with custom-made trays and Philips Zoom® products gives you the benefit of safe and effective professional teeth whitening. The custom-made trays are discreet and can be worn during the day or night, depending on your preference. The innovative gel formula protects your tooth enamel and strengthens your teeth without compromising your health.

What should I be aware of before starting Philips Zoom® professional teeth whitening?

Good oral health is required for teeth whitening. A check-up appointment with a dentist before your whitening is necessary.

Invisalign®

Invisalign® is an orthodontic treatment with invisible aligners from the Invisalign® brand. This treatment consists of wearing a series of transparent and removable aligners for a few weeks or months, to realign the teeth.

This transparent and discreet system is not limited to simple treatments but is also suitable for more complex aligners. In the case of small, dental crowding, a few months of treatment with invisible aligners is enough. For complex treatments, one to two years may be necessary. But don’t worry, thanks to modern 3D imaging technology, you know your treatment plan in advance, from the initial position of the teeth to the desired final position.

Dentures

There is a wide range of fixed and removable dentures available to improve the aesthetics and comfort of your smile. The dental prostheses adapt according to the needs for each one: dental crown, bridge, dental veneer, complete or partial removable prosthesis.

Learn more
Dental crown

The crown is a ceramic dental prosthesis that replaces the visible part of the tooth when it has been damaged by decay or fracture. It protects the tooth from wear and tear and is used to cover a dental implant replacing a missing tooth. This method avoids the need for a complete extraction of the tooth. It improves the aesthetics and comfort of your smile.

Dental bridge

A bridge is a dental prosthesis that replaces one or more missing teeth. With dental bridges, you can regain aesthetics and comfort in your mouth. The abutments of a dental bridge are usually located on either side of the toothless space and are either implants or milled teeth. The bridge rests on these abutments. It is fixed and cannot be removed.

Dental veneer

The dental veneer is a small, ultra-thin ceramic shell. Very resistant, the dental veneer is fixed on the front of the teeth. Coloured to match your smile, it is custom-made and covers the natural tooth.

Complete or partial removable prosthesis

Dental prostheses are made to measure. They adapt to the morphology of your oral cavity. Very resistant, they replace one or more teeth. Thanks to the modern technologies used in dental clinics, they offer a natural, aesthetic and comfortable final result.
