Monique FRANKEN

Monique Franken is a dentist specializing in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, with expertise focused on the oral health and development of children and adolescents. After graduating in dental medicine in 2010, she specialized in pediatric dentistry in 2013 and, in the same year, obtained certification in the use of nitrous oxide to help make dental care more comfortable and reassuring for young patients. She further expanded her academic background with a Master’s degree in Dental Medicine in 2017, followed by a Master’s degree in Public Health in 2022, strengthening her comprehensive approach to prevention and oral health.

In 2026, Monique Franken reached another important milestone in her career by becoming an orthodontist. This specialization naturally complements her experience in pediatric dentistry and enables her to support children and adolescents throughout their growth, jaw development and the evolution of their smiles. By combining pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and prevention, she provides early, personalized care tailored to the individual needs of each young patient.

Dentistry has always played an important role in Monique Franken’s life. Growing up in a family environment where dentistry was already present naturally inspired her to pursue the profession herself. She later chose pediatric dentistry because of her passion for supporting children throughout their growth and development. Specializing in orthodontics enabled her to take this commitment further by providing more comprehensive support for the development of her young patients’ oral health and smiles.

Monique Franken speaks French, English and Portuguese, allowing her to communicate clearly with children and families from different backgrounds. Her multidisciplinary expertise, experience with young patients and strong focus on prevention enable her to provide professional, reassuring and personalized care throughout every stage of their development.
