Philippe GERMANIER

English , French , German , Italian

The dentist Dr. med. tooth. Philippe Germanier is the founder of the Centre dentaire de Saint-François in Lausanne, and has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. Surrounded by a team of dentists, dental hygienists and prophylactic assistants, at the Centre dentaire de St-François he offers a comprehensive approach to functional and esthetic dentistry, as well as innovative care to maintain good oral health.

Dr. Germanier works with the latest technologies for modern, pain-free treatment. He has developed strong skills in the use of lasers, digital workflow, perio-overdenture and total prosthetics according to the University of Zürich, as well as in dental prosthetics attached to natural teeth or dental implants.

Laser technology offers a gentle, minimally invasive approach. Today, it can be used in place of burs and scalpels for a wide range of dental procedures, such as cavity removal, with little or no anaesthetic required. It can also be used to treat inflamed gums and periodontal pockets (receding gums). Read more about laser dentistry.

After obtaining his federal diploma in dentistry, Dr Germanier took on the role of Head of Clinic at the University of Zurich for over five years (from 2002 to 2007), and now works as an Instructor. Since 2019, he has held the position of Chief Medical Officer of the Adent Group, managing issues relating to the quality of dental treatments.

Alongside his work as a dentist and Head of Clinic, Dr Germanier is very active in continuing education. He lectures on the use of lasers in dentistry, total dentures and periooverdenture.

This dentist is fluent in French, English, German and Italian.

The Centre dentaire de Saint-François in Lausanne also takes care of children’s dental care.
